the thing about forgiving is that it ain’t easy. if forgiving is easy, it wasn’t worth to be “mad” about it. to forgive someone you need courage, you need to jump over your own shadow. at this point you show the full strength of your personality but at the same time you’re weak and a target for hate, vulnerable for any kind of aggressions against you. how do you know if a person is worth to be forgiven? there’s actually no other way than.. just forgive them and see what will happen.
because of the complexity of forgiving, people tend to don’t forgive at all. that’s how we work, why take the hard way if there’s an easy one? we kinda fear to forgive.
life’s about learning. to learn we need to fail. but what’s the point about learning if our failures never get forgiven and mistakes just end in losing people, opportunities or chances that might change our life and the view on it.
life’s cruel, it ever was and it ever will be.
